I do like to have a small interest in the other matches which I'm not trading. This weekends bets are shown below with short reasoning on each, I have done extensive research but don't want to write a huge/boring post going into all the tiny details.
WBA v Arsenal - BTTS @1.68
I think Arsenal win the match but although WBA don't really having anything much to play for they are capable of scoring here. They've done reasonably well at home against better teams, Lukaku in particular has had a good season & is always a danger.
Final score 1-2 winning bet, but not sure why I didn't back O2.5 as well!
Liverpool v West Ham - Liverpool Win to nil @2.08
Liverpool have been coasting in home matches against similar opposition this season and have the added incentive of catching Everton in the table with a win. Also, a major factor in taking this bet is Andy Carroll being unable to play against his parent club.
Final score 0-0 losing bet, paid the price for betting on LFC, clowns!
Chelsea v Sunderland - HT/FT Chelsea/Chelsea @2.00
Tough first match for new manager Di Canio and I don't see his influence being able to stop Chelsea in any way. Chelsea should be fired up to take 3 important points in the race for Champs League places.
Final score 2-1 losing bet, Chelsea got there in the end but no use to me.
Norwich v Swansea - DNB Norwich @1.89
Norwich have been awful of late but are just a few points from guarateeing safety and playing at home against a Swansea side with nothing to play for offers a great chance to pick up some points. Norwich have beaten Swansea all three times they've played since both being in the Premier League and strangely all three games have gone Over 3.5 goals!
Final score 2-2 no bet, close but no joy here & the forth game in a row between the teams which went Over 3.5 goals.
Newcastle v Fulham - Double Chance Fulham @1.81
Fulham are in good form and won at Spurs recently, while Newcastle have been losing in Portugal. I think this is a great opportunity for Fulham to break the 40pts barrier and confirm their improvement away from home.
Final score 1-0 losing bet, 93rd minute winner here, clearly not my day!
Reading v Southampton - Over 2.5 @1.78
This match screams goals with Reading in desperate need of a win, while Saints would pretty much guarantee safety if they could get the 3pts. Neither side defends particularly well but both are capable of scoring goals. I'll potentially look to roll the profit from this bet up onto an Over 3.5 or 4.5 bet if we see an open match and early goals.
Final score 0-2 losing bet, 20 shots in the match but only two goals.
